Home > MOCHA Funded Programs > General Info > News > Press Releases NEWS Release*** NEWS RELEASE *** Aften an extensive search and effective today, December 3, 2007, the Men of Color Health Awareness Project, Inc (MOCHA Project) is announcing that Damon L. Humes, MHS has been appointed to the position of Executive Director. He is replacing John. H. Morgan, MSW who left the MOCHA Project in April of 2007. An interim Executive Director was in place to run operations while the search progressed. Mr. Humes comes to Buffalo from New Jersey where he successfully managed programs at the Camden Area Health Education. Mr. Humes has also instituted and managed programs at at the National Alliance of State and Territorial AIDS Program in Washington, DC, Steininger Behavioral Care Services in Cherry Hill, NJ, The Brother's Collective in Philadelphia, PA, and the UNITY Program in Philadelphia. He has also used his talents by working in consulting with a variety of HIV/AIDS programs during his stops listed above. Mr. Humes holds a Masters in Human Services from Lincoln University and is currently working toward his doctorate in Psychology through the Capella University's Harold Abel Shool of Psychology in Minneapolis, MN.
