MOCHA Funded Programs

The MOCHA Project has sought, received, and utilizes funding from a variety of HIV/AIDS related sources. Some of our funding serves only one of our locations while the rest of our funding is used in both locations. The links on the left side of this page will take you to a page which will describe in greater detail what each program does and where you can use these services.

A summary of the programs at MOCHA is as follows:

  1. HIV Uninsured Care Program - serves the unmet medical needs of our target population (Buffalo).
  2. Intensive Outreach - education and harm & risk reduction efforts (Buffalo).
  3. Ryan White - all purpose assistance for HIV+ individuals (Buffalo & Rochester).
  4. Centers for Disease Control - Street level intervention (Rochester).
  5. Health Resource Services Administration - all purpose grant to help coordinate all other grants (Buffalo & Rochester).
  6. Office of Minority Health - promotes HIV/STD and Hepatitis risk reduction (Rochester).
